Lasithi Biological Olive Oil for German Olympians “Olympians from Germany who came to Crete recently provided a golden opportunity to promote our island in Germany. This country brings most visitors to Greece, but during the last two years, negative images of our country have dominated in the media there. Therefore, the image of German athletes in Greece is an important positive step that will encourage Germans to return to their favorite destinations such as Crete. It sometimes happens in these circumstances that someone stands out and chance meetings occur, such as when these Germans visitors came across quality Cretan products. Among the gifts offered to the delegation and athletes was the Cretan Olive Oil from Lasithi called “Horizon”, which is produced in very small quantities but is already being exported to Europe with great success.
